From the Plèi collection 100% in upcycled leather scraps, the “Touka” flower is worked in a tricolor shades. Its graphic linearity is inspired by the bird of paradise. Two asymmetrical flowers have curled inner petals. The junction of their leather-wrapped uppers is subtly hidden by ribbed leaves connected by hand-stitching. The flower can be expressed in a soliflore, with other leather flowers or join a bouquet of dried flowers. The name "Touka", a rewrite of toucan, echoes the bird of paradise, a flower which inspired the design of this model.
