Spot is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The expected lifespan of your spot is dependent on frequency of use. Spot comes with a one year limited warranty .
To replace a lost or damaged charging cord, purchase  here . usage: getting started:
Spot will arrive in travel mode to ensure it won’t turn on during transit. This will prevent the device from turning on or charging.
To turn off travel mode, hold down the power button for three seconds until you feel two quick pulses, then travel mode will be deactivated. To turn on travel mode, hold the power button down again until you feel those same two quick pulses, then travel mode will be activated.
Spot should ship with a partial charge though it may have been depleted over time. Before first use, charge your device for a full two hours. cha
