Akila Jumbo Time Wines Mellodramatic + Ceres Bundle

Mellodramatic  is a chilled red wine made for easy summer drinking: bright, refreshing, and ready for poolside afternoons, backyard dinners, and everything in between.
A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Mendocino’s historic Hawkeye Ranch, with Pinot Gris from Heringer Estate in Clarksburg. The Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris were fermented on the skins for two weeks, the juice being “pumped-over” daily for a gentle extraction of color and flavors. Meanwhile, the Chardonnay was pressed immediately and the resulting juice fermented in a stainless steel tank. All were aged for six months in neutral french oak barrels, before blending and bottling, without fining or filtration. Only a small addition of SO2 was made prior to bottling.
