The Tessa Mackenzie Clock Collection is a collaboration between Paulin and glazier and illustrator, Tessa Mackenzie. The dials were screen printed in Tessa's studio in the East End of Glasgow. Tessa’s collection explores the process of designing for material. The work builds on an ongoing project; originally translating observational drawings into tapestry patterns, then to glass, and then Dibond. This playful process – a kind of visual game of telephone – aims to articulate the relationship between pattern and material. Each of the five dial designs is an edition of two and has been signed by the artist.  The clock is made from cork and aluminium with a sweeping second hand. Orders outside the UK will be subject to customs and taxes according to the destination country.
